About Me

I’m a professional pianist and teacher with an intense interest in sacred music. I was trained classically, playing hundreds of works from the standard classical repertoires, and I completed various piano-related degrees from Butler University, Bob Jones University, and the University of Cincinnati.

Jonathan Reed pictureI am currently an Associate Professor of Music at Warner University in Lake Wales, FL. I teach piano, music theory, music history/literature, and music appreciation. I absolutely love what I do at Warner, and I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to train the next generation of music ministers and educators.

I’ve been arranging hymns and sacred music since high school. Though my styles have changed and matured, my goal is still the same: communicate the message of each piece with accuracy and sensitivity to the text. I do publish sheet music for each project, but my main focus is toward those who will listen to these arrangements through the recordings.
